Christian Non Profit

Also does this correlate with the phrase "be ready at all times"? How about this scenario a christian man drives on the road and he has a lustful thought and then has a car wreck and dies.

Also, how does this correlate when if a Christian falls and gets back up spiritually. What happens if they don’t get back up spiritually and has a weak relationship with God?

We will never be fully ready if we keep our eyes on ourselves. As long as we live we will sin. It is our nature but as soon as a thought arises such as this then we are to go directly to Him and repent which means to walk away rather than be obsessed by that thought. God is not deceived. He knows our heart and what really lies underneath. Those thoughts that you are referring to are always there in our subconscious mind. They will raise up at the most inconvenient times like driving or reading or even praying. It is the wiles of the enemy that brings those things to the surface. There is a battle field that goes on in the mind and jesus is our Champion if we let Him. You don’t have to walk in condemnation if you don’t allow the sin to grab a hold of you and over take you in a fault. Our conscience can be cleared if we don’t dwell in sin.
Now for the one who does not get up and repent then God will judge them according to their works. Salvation is free but, rewards are earned.
God Bless. :)

Edit: Sorry Kerawr every Christian can live by the ten commandments if we follow the first two. :)

My wife says I can’t hang out with my gay best friend anymore. How can I, a Christian man, avoid my best friend Ray-Ray and stop being friends with him after we have been friends for so long?

Does the Bible teach you that you should hate him? I thought the Sermon on the Mount was about loving your enemy (among other things). I thought that Christians were supposed to be loving, getting their morals from the ultimate force of Good in the universe? Is your wife better able to govern you than your God? I would hope not.

I’m not trying to be a dick or cause problems in your marriage. I am saying that this is one of the problems with many christians. They preach love and practice hate. You should demonstrate to your wife that you can disagree with his sins and still accept him as a friend.

This is just one of the many reasons why I just can’t accept Christianity (and many other religions). They breed hatred and bigotry.

A lion can live from 12 to 15 years in the wild, Adamson believed that Christian ended his days in the Meru National Reserve only a few miles up river.

You’ll find this video to be as heartwarming as it is inspiring, reminiscent of rare privileges of a past time and an even rarer moment between humans and animals.

Emotional reunion

The main part of the film shown on YouTube was shot the following day, when Bourke and Rendall went into the bush to attempt to see their old friend.

There are two men in flared jeans and shaggy hair, and there is a lion. The huge carnivore approaches from a distance, slowly at first. Then recognition sets in, and soon everyone - men and beast - are hugging and crying.

Christian even brings one of the lionesses in his pride over to meet his former roommates. The Daily Mail story reports that the lioness was clearly not happy with christian’s two-legged friends, and Adamson told Rendall and Bourke that it was time to leave. They went back to the camp, and Christian went with them, staying up late into the night as the humans partied with their friend.

The next day Christian walked back into the bush, where his lionesses were waiting. He was never seen again - but the power of the Internet guarantees that he will never be forgotten.

I had a falling out with my church (Baptist) due to the fact that I am bisexual. I know that Episcopalians accept homosexuals and people of the sort, but I needed to know if it’s right for me, based on my values and beliefs. A quick compare and contrast would be nice.

To be honest there is Nothing really different.
It is all Christianity no matter what.
If they believe in jesus, read the bible and carry a cross they are Christian.
I’m Baptist myself and my church was very open to all people.
The main thing is you go to a church you feel at home in.
No matter what branch of christianity it is.
In fact you may want to check out a non-denominational church.
They are somewhat pure in belief if you ask me.
No labels and they don’t care about the little differences that make the other sects separated.
They just believe in God.
I haven’t gone to church in a while because of school.
But the last one I visited was non denominatioal and it was very nice.
I felt at home even though the person next to me was raised Lutheran. So in my opinion non-denominational churches are pretty cool if you ask me.
But hey if you want to go with a particular sect then just look around and see which one is right for you.
Also do some research about churches that are excepting of people with different sexual preferences.
Just look up some on Google and see what you find in your area.
You may be surprised, there are probably a lot more than you think.
A friend of mine is bi and she goes to a church in Queens that is very excepting of her lifestyle from what she tells me.
But remember no matter what place you end up in it’s all the same God. Just make sure your comfortable and feel at home when you come to praise.
I wish you prosperity in your search and I hope you find a loving church home.

Peace and Blessings = )

My great grand father was Seventh Day Baptist, but I never knew the difference if there is any.
I just want to learn.
Thanks.
God bless you through Christ jesus our Lord/ Messiah..

The seventh day Baptist are essentially a baptist theology except they are sabbath keepers.

They predate the seventh day Adventists.

There are major differences in the two. Like what happens after death.
But minor compared to Buddhism or Confucius.

The intolerance and threatening with hellfire is hardly a “message of unbounded love and compassion”. Jesus’ teachings are at best deliberately confusing, and at their worst, disturbing.

So where do christians get the idea that the core message in Christianity is "love" and "compassion", particularly when god is just hanging you from a string over an eternal barbecue pit?

Mark 9:39 But jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. 42 "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched– 44 where ‘THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.’

Jesus was quoting Isaiah here.

Isaiah 66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says the LORD, "So shall your descendants and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD. 24 "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Also, what would Jesus think of the republican policy of persuing war without any diplomatic attempt to resovle conflict.

Also what would he think of the republican policy of denying welfare and national health insurance to the poor?
This is just a hypothetical - as if jesus were asked these questions in a sit down interview with Matt Lauer. I know Jesus wasn’t political.

Great Question Jeff O! Good food for thought. I think that I will sit and ponder on it for awhile.

O.K. I think i have it- he would do like he did the money changers in the temple of worship- he would drive them out of the temples of power in our country. The money changers were trying to turn a profit in the church- they were probably early republicans.

What does jesus say should be done in private even though a lot of people want to do them in public? Why does he say this?

Masturbation. You should not masturbate in front of animals. Pearls are like, you know, a pearl necklace. Perverted stuff if you ask me! You shouldn’t be reading that!
