The Jesus Paul preached is the true Jesus………..
"For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. But I do not think I am in the least inferior to those "super-apostles." …………For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."

Some say that Jesus is God almighty, whereas I believe that Jesus is the son of God.
I really believe that Jesus died and was raised back to life by God the father. I find it hard to understand why would God die ( and we know God can’t die) only to raise himself up to life that he never died.
To know that Jesus really died and had to have faith in his father to raise him from the dead , gives me much more appreciation in the sacrifice Jesus gave. References :

ALL Christian Churches believe in The ‘one and only Son of God, Jesus’. The Mormons are not ‘Christian’ … no Christian Church would say that Jesus is a ‘created being’ and a ‘brother of Satan’. The Mormon Church belongs to Satan whom God says was a Murderer from the Beginning and is the Father of lies and of liars (John 8:44). Most Christian denominations believe in Jesus the Christ of Nazareth. Mormons are not really Christians but are a cult in that they believe this:
That Jesus and Satan are brothers,
That a dead person can be baptized,
That a Mormon can become a god,
That God is flesh and blood,
This is just some of the stupid baggage Mormons have added to their cult and no they are not closer than the average denomination to the real Jesus.

Some Christians believe in the three-in-one Jesus, where God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost all coexist as one Being. Others believe that Jesus is God, while others still believe He is the Son. There are likely many other ways Christians believe Jesus to be, as well.
Mormons believe that Jesus is the only begotten son of God, and that He died for us to atone for our sins and make it possible to live with our Heavenly Father. Mormons are Christians.
Much of what has been scornfully said about Mormons in previous answers is true. They believe that we are literally spirit children of God our Heavenly Father, and that we were sent to Earth so that we might be tested to see if we’re worthy enough to return and receive a body, as God has. His body, however, is perfect, and capable of much more than ours currently are.
Being spirit children of God would make Jesus and Satan brothers. Satan, however, rebelled against his Father and wanted His glory for himself, while Jesus volunteered to be our Savior and have all the glory be given to the Father. Thus, Satan wast cast down to Earth without a body, as well as anyone else who believed him and rebelled against God.
Mormon believe that everyone is capable of becoming like unto God. God loves us, and wants us to learn and progress and suceed. Like every father, He wants us to be great and become like Himself. We, if we are righteous in all ways, can inherit God’s Kingdom and be made rulers of it. Not taking God’s place, but being stewards in helping with His work. And, through the eternities, while we learn more and become more glorified, we could be creators of worlds for our own children to live on, putting them through the same tests that we all have to go through. Jesus’s sacrifice is great enough for all people, however.
As for the baptism of the dead, yes, Mormons do it. They don’t literally baptize dead people, of course. A person is baptized in proxy, or in place of, that who is dead. The person for whom was baptized can then, on the other side of the veil, choose to accept the baptism or reject it. Everyone is given agency, and can make their own choices. Remember that no one can enter the Kingdom of God if they are not baptized. Mormons simply give everyone the chance.
Thus being said, Mormons are not a cult, and if there is anymore confusion on the manner you can look up the definition of cult. The FLDS, which broke off the Mormon (LDS) Church, have many different practices and beliefs, including polygamy among others. They are not to be confused with Mormons. References :

If your a Christian organization then Jesus Christ of the New Testament is pretty clear, you can’t have a ‘variation’ if this is your guy. You can have different ideas, different interpretations, different ideologies, and still have the same Jesus. If I believe he had blond hair and you believe he had brown hair, we can still be talking about the same person. We can argue over the hair color, but it is the SAME person.
A different Jesus would be someone say born in Africa, who was simply a man, a great leader for example. Another Jesus would be someone born in Australia with no ties to Jerusalem… I mean their are many people named Jesus especially in Mexico.
The Jesus taught in the LDS Church (Mormons), is the Jesus spoken of in the New Testament! So if you have been told we believe in a different Jesus for salvation (like someone born in Mexico) you have been lied to. The Jesus we teach of for a remission of sins and for salvation is Jesus Christ, the Divine son of God, spoken of in the New Testament.

Most Christians can agree that he was born in Bethlehem around 1 AD, was baptized by John the Baptist, taught people to love and respect each other, called 12 disciples to act as his apostles, and was crucified by the Romans at the insistance of the Jews. Most Christians also believe that he then resurrected and ascended to heaven promising to return one day.
Most of the beliefs concerning Jesus come from the testimony of his apostles and disciples. Although there is some question as to how well these records were preserved, most agree that they are substantially intact. Some beliefs come from traditions, passed down through centuries. Some beliefs come from spiritual experiences that people have had, like visions or dreams.
The Mormon church bases it understanding of Jesus on the Bible, and on the Book of Mormon, and on the visions of latter-day prophets. Most other churches base their knowledge on their interpretation of the Bible and on their traditions.
Perhaps the single greatest divergence of belief is in the concept of Trinity. This doctrine was first given its name by the Catholic church around 425 AD at the council of Nicea. The Catholic church called upon the various bishops and priests to create a creed, or standard of belief concerning the nature of God. The Greek Orthodox church broke off from the Catholic or Universal church at this time because they could not agree whether the Holy Ghost was a third member of the Godhead, or just another way of refering to God. To this day, the Greek Orthodox church does not believe in the Trinity.
Joseph Smith received a vision where he saw God the father and Jesus, much like Stephen the Martyr. He was told that the other churches were all corrupt and that their creeds were an abomination. One creed in particular stands out, and that is the creed of the Trinity.
Biblically, the word is never used. There are one or two scriptures that indicate that God and Jesus are one, but there are a host of others that indicate that God is the father, and that Jesus is his son. Additionally, the same word interpreted as "one" is used to suggest that husbands should be one with their wives. It is reasonable to reinterprete this word as united; husbands and wives should be united. Jesus and his father should be united. Thus the only major scriptural support for the concept of the Trinity is based on an iffy translation, and by ignoring a host of other scriptures.
The Trinity is one creed that has been passed down through the centuries from the Catholic church to all of the Protestant churches. If it is indeed "an abomination" as Jesus told Joseph Smith, then it follows that all of the Christian churches were corrupt, with the dubious exception of the Eastern Orthodox church which also rejected the Trinity. Without much scriptural support, most of the basis for a belief in the concept of the Trinity comes from tradition.
This is where the real question lies - which is more reliable? Traditions? Interpretations of scripture? or revelations given to modern prophets? It is apparent to me that the revelations concerning the nature of god that were given to the prophet Joseph Smith are more in harmony with the New Testament than the doctrine of the Trinity.
